Go Jazz!

The second attempt at a Jazz game with Jaxon was a complete success! Brian, Jaxon, and I arrived early enough to enjoy some pre-game activities which got us off on the right foot with Jaxon.Jaxon was a little leery of the clowns on the plaza, but he was excited to get his very own balloon dinosaur. (Even though the picture doesn't portray his excitement!)

After the clowns we had Jaxon's face painted
"Go Jazz!" Again, he wasn't too sure about letting someone paint on his face. In the end he was very eager to show everyone he saw his cool face. "Look! It says "Go Jazz!"

Jaxon still didn't like the fireworks at the beginning of the game when the players were introduced. The Jazz Bear played an explosive rendition of "Great Balls of Fire" during a time-out in which fireworks came out of the piano. Again, not a fan.

The game was as exciting as ever. Jaxon clapped his hands and yelled for the Jazz. (Nothing beats Brian's cheers...he's still hoarse!)We were also lucky enough to be able to enjoy the game with Brian's entire family (minus Elder Brady in Sweden). So, I suppose that persistence stuff really pays off. The game was a huge success and we had a lot of fun together as a family.

Go Jazz!
