Sesame Street Live

We were able to go see Sesame Street Live with all the cousins today. My brother and two of my brother-in-laws work for Hill Air Force Base. The Air Force hosted the free show. It turned out to be all about helping kids cope with military life i.e. their parents deployments, moving around, etc., They had lots of free stuff for the kids like DVD's, postcards, toys, balloons, posters. The best parts of the show were watching the kids reactions to the characters, Cookie Monster's sweet dancing skills, and the fact that it only lasted 40 minutes. Perfect!

Michelle said...: Awesome, sometimes I wish I was still a kid, then people wouldn't laugh at me when I tell them I still like to watch Sesame Street. What a fun day. Cute new header too.; August 19, 2008 at 3:05 PM

The Final Analysis

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway.
If you are successful you will win some false friends and some true enemies; succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will forget tomorrow; do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be good enough; give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; it was never between you and them anyway.
