It's a Wonderful Life

Oh, Blog. I've thought about posting for months. Months, I tell you. Thought about it, but have done nothing.

Life is a very interesting thing. At times I get discouraged reading blogs because so many lives/families appear to be so perfect. I know that is not the case. I know that everyone puts their best face forward. I know that everyone struggles and not one family out there is perfect. I know that. And while I want to remember all the happy moments, the very best memories, I also don't want to give any false impressions of our life. I want to be real. At the same time, I have no desire to lay all my struggles out for everyone to see. Is it possible to do both? Can I be real and honest without the nitty gritties? Can I still share the positive, happy moments that come every day without portraying a false sense of reality?

I'm going to try. Because I really feel in my heart that I need to start sharing my life...the happy and the hard.

This is my life.

It is real.

It is happy.

It is hard.

It is wonderful.

It is mine.
